Our baby Rose Margaret Wells was due to be born on the Winter Solstice--the shortest day of the year, the day with the least daylight. If she had come that day, we might have named her Lucy after Luz in Spanish or Lux in Latin meaning "light." She ended up coming a few days later on Christmas Eve, but she still has brought light into our lives every day since then. It's a new year, a new blog, and it looks like All is Wells!
